Well its happened.... Pete and I are engaged!

Its all very exciting and we are both happy, and so are family and friends.  Its been a crazy few days of telling peolpe and letting it all sink in.

This past Friday, after work, pete sent me on this scavenger hunt all around town.  I was looking for these locked containers, and with each clue, i got a key to open the next container.  Some of the stops included some gifts, like a flower and a watch.  They were mostly in places that we frequently visit or that have some meaning to us.  The final clue led me to a park we have visited before.  He had a nice dinner set up and after we ate, he got down on one knee and asked me.  I was definitely shocked, since i had talked myself out of this possibility earier in the day.  I then called my parents and then we went over to tell his parents.  They of course had an idea that it would happen soon, because he had talked to all of them about it recently.  So then, as it was slowly sinking in, we told other people, and now co-workers.  Everyones reaction is great and very encouraging, and much appreciated!

Now i get to shop for a ring and realize how much money everything costs.  I would love to have the wedding at someones house or something, so any volunteers?? :)
